Gemma arterton

Gemma Christina Arterton is an English actress known for her role in films like 'Quantum of Solace', 'The Disappearance of Alice Creed', and 'Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters'. Her birthplace was in Gravesend, Kent, in Greater London. Her career began after she graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. Her first appearance was in a comedic show called 'St Trinian's'. In the James Bond film Quantum of Solace the film, which came out just a few days later, she was a supporting role. Film was commercially successful and had mostly positive reviews. Then she played the lead female role in the fantasy action movie "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time". Recently, she played an supporting part for the French film "Orphan,". Her work has been recognized for many awards. The award she received was the prestigious Empire Award for best newcomer in Quantum of Solace and the Evening Standard Theatre Award for the role she played on the stage in Made in Dagenham.
